The Testimonials
"Get back to doing what we love"
"Daniella is by far the best physical therapist I have ever worked with, and as a person who has been athletic her entire life, I have worked with many. She is incredible with kids and adults alike, having treated my 10 year old son and 13 year old daughter for soccer injuries, as well as myself and my husband. She is highly skilled at identifying and resolving injuries, and gives very specific, personalized exercises that improve overall alignment and health. The minute one of us gets an injury, I immediately book with Daniella because I know that she will speed the healing process and get us back to doing what we love! She has helped us with a foot bone that was out of alignment, pulled hamstrings, a jammed hip from a trampoline, a lower back issue, and more. Thank you, Daniella for your incredible care, knowledge and skill in helping people heal from injuries!"
"Daniella Tress is the highly knowledgeable and experienced physical therapist that so many of us with chronic injuries need- one who can do the gentle manipulations but also push us as former competitive athletes to retrain muscle patterns and stabilize where there is weakness using Pilates-based physical therapy. I am so grateful to have found Daniella after spending so much time, energy, and resources being told I had to rest and do nothing- none of which helped my psyche nor sped up the healing process."
"Lasting improvement for chronic conditions"
"Having worked with many wonderful people in Pilates, physical therapy and yoga over the years, I am truly impressed with Daniella. Her intuition is a big part of how helpful she is, her knowledge impressive, and she approaches her work in a unique way to get you to feel better and stronger. She really is focused on making things better for her clients. "
"Daniella is teaching me how to strengthen my core and to exercise for bone health in a safe manner. After working with yoga and Pilates teachers that didn’t understand that certain exercises were contraindicated for osteopenia, I decided to try a physical therapist. The first one I saw gave me a scripted exercise plan for an older woman and I wasn’t challenged. I appreciate that Daniella takes the time to thoughtfully plan our sessions. They are always challenging, different, and never boring. I feel stronger and better educated every week."
"I came to Daniella because I was diagnosed with pain and numbness from polyneuropathy with myalgia in both legs. It was very difficult for me to go up and down stairs, and extremely difficult and painful for me to stand up from any chair that I had been sitting in for more than 10 minutes. She did an evaluation of my condition and a thorough review of my medical records. Then she designed a program to improve my posture, balance, coordination, and muscle strength. Now, I can easily go up and down any stairs, get in and out of my car, and stand up out of chairs. I feel very fortunate to have Daniella as my physical therapist. She is extremely well qualified and competent."
"The only one able to identify the root cause of pain"
"I have had chronic back issues for 20+ years and have tried many chiropractors, acupuncturists, physical therapists, and massage therapists. An orthopedic surgeon confirmed I was not a surgery candidate but I WAS a physical therapy candidate. Daniella Tress is, in a word, AMAZING. She was scrupulous and did not miss even the tiniest symptom. She diligently taught me about my entire framework and how it all connects. It was like being given an owner's manual for my body! She’s intelligent, insightful and takes a very serious approach to her clients. I am forever in her debt."
Update:
“It’s been seven years since Daniella helped me recover from my last back injury. Learning about body mechanics with Daniella liberated me from chronic pain and enabled me to regain flexibility in my lower spine. I took what I learned and put it into practice in my everyday life. Words simply cannot express what it means to me to have a healthy spine again. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Daniella Tress.”
"I had chronic back pain for over a decade. I saw many health care practitioners, all of whom helped my pain go away—temporarily. Daniella was the first practitioner I have seen who was able to identify the root causes of my pain: dysfunctional movement patterns, weak or over compensating muscle groups, lack of mobility. Through a combination of bodywork, Pilates exercises and education, she has methodically trained me to use my body in a functional and ever-improving way. I am far more active and pain free than I thought I could be. I cannot recommend her approach and effectiveness enough."
"Quick Path to Recovery after Injury"
“After suffering a neck injury, which left me with extreme weakness in my arm, and numbness in my hand, Daniella’s perfect combination of body work and wide assortment of strengthening exercises quickly put me on a path to recovery. She provides the rare combination of a positive and encouraging demeanour, along with expert knowledge, all in a sunny, positive, state-of-the-art facility. Physical therapy with Daniella is simply excellent!"
